The Painted House

I think most of you remember the house a few blocks away. They paint the front for every holiday. And it was the same this Christmas. Here it is right after being painted.

And now they are just starting to decorate.

But you ain't seen nothing yet! Remember how the entire yard is crammed full of decorations?

This is over the front door.

And I kinda like the giant bells.

And not just one tree! So once again, the painted house people have outdone themselves.

I’m thinking the layers of paint is what is holding that house together. I say, good for them. I wouldn’t do it but they obviously love to do it and it just shows how fun they must be plus it brings in a fun attitude for the neighborhood.

Hi Ginny, thanks for your recent visit and comment and coming over from Sandra’s blog. These homeowners really go way out for a holiday, decorations are a lot of sork, but repainting a house is really amazing! I wondered how often it’s done a year and what the next color will be.

So glad to hear you are back home again, Ginny! It must be long covid thing for you, I hope you are now back to your healthy self again. Covid have attacked me twice already, I am now on cordyceps medication to strengthen back my lungs.

Wow, they really went all out. I wonder how many layers of paint are on the front of that house now. The green front door goes well with the Christmas look.

I have told people about this house. I just can't believe how often they paint that front!
Yes, they've outdone themselves again!

my favorite this Christmas is the forest of trees, what a great idea. just those lighted trees would be amazing all by themselves. they must be kin to my mother and Linda chapman, both of whom love to decorate. great job getting the photos since you were so sick while this was going on

It's fun to see the painted house with each holiday. I still can't believe they paint the outside every time, and they have so many trees! I wonder if they are artificial ones? I like the gold deer with the antlers. It kind of looks like Santa's workshop. They really put a lot of effort into making it a festive place for the season. I bet the children love it.

I have to admit that house is a bit over the top for me and wouldn't like living next door to it...but to each its own and they really are creative and maybe own stock in a paint company..lots of hard work there.
Glad you are feeling better and posting again.

Can you imagine how difficult it must be to pain Over the color Red. I'm guessing this house really stands out. Some folks have lots of energy and lots of unique ideas. So glad you are back!

It is a wonderful red and I like it. We have two houses in our modern development that are a deep red which also makes them stand out.

You found a truly fitting quote. A part of me likes it when grown-ups remain children at heart. And for the season.

Tomorrow's snail post mentions you and your granddaughters. You were my snail inspiration -- that didn't sound very nice, but it's a compliment. And I'm so glad you are feeling better.
