Our granddaughter Dara was in the play "Alladin Jr." this week. She played the head of the guards. So come along with me for a visit to the Ottoman empire!
The outfits of the princess & her ladies were really pretty and bejeweled.
Here is Dara "arresting" them.
She was trying to be serious and not laugh.
Success!
Alladin & the princess singing "A Whole New World". They had beautiful voices.
Time for their final bows. They were all given a standing ovation. So much talent for middle-schoolers!

They have a lot more talent than I did when I was in middle school. Good for them!
I am so glad you get to go see them in all the wonderful things they do and participate in. the costumes are beautiful and I bet this was fun. we did not do things like this in my school, way back in the 50's, school is so different now. .
How wonderful. Dara did the serious look very good. Love all their costumes.

How delightful that must have been. Dara looks wonderful in her costume. All the costumes look like they had a lot of work put into them. Hurray to those who put them together and congrats to Dara for a wonderful performance!
Wow, love it. Dara is lovely and that's quite a production. I would have loved to attend.

Her serious face is excellent.
How fun for Dara to be in the school play. And Alladin is an awesome one. Jasmine's outfit is dazzling. What a fun production for all the kids.
