Into the Green

While making a trip over Afton Mountain for a doctor appointment, I was fascinated by the beautiful green. The way the sun was shining on the trees looked rather like an enchanted forest to me.

“Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps the singing bird will come.” – Lois Lowry

“For still there are so many things that I have never seen: in every wood in every spring there is a different green.”

– J. R. R. Tolkien

What a beautiful drive that is. It makes my heart happy when the trees are all green again. It never fails to lift my spirits when I'm driving along and see things like in your pictures.

green trees are and have always been in my heart. from the time I was born until age of 19, my home was in a part of Savannah called Grove Park, for 5 of those years, we were in KY and surrounded by trees. Sunshine makes new green, greener.. so beautiful

The trees around our house are turning green and are almost as pretty as the ones you showed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ginny: You live in the most beautiful area! The tender new green is the most refreshing and lovely! xoxo

As we here in Pennsylvania are still waiting for the bursts of green to appear, I am thankful to you for sharing your beauty! Wow!!! Thank you, my friend.

I might be more willing to go to a dr. appt if I had that drive to make. Love these shots. I love spring green, anyway.

I love the road and the trees. This may be a second comment. I think I'm in Spam.

How wonderful! I love looking at the trees on our journeys, especially this time of the year when all the leaves are sprouting. Two perfect quotes!
