The Cherry Trees

Here are the darker color cherry trees that are in bloom around town.

These were on the golf course.

“I value my garden more for being full of blackbirds than of cherries, and very frankly give them fruit for their songs.”

–Joseph Addison

Trees are poems that earth writes upon the sky. We fell them down and turn them into paper, that we may record our emptiness.

Kahlil Gibran

Those are beautiful! I'm glad you don't have to travel far to see them. ❤️

the cherry trees are awe inspiring! especially the ones that stand out like jewels on the green golf course. about fruit for birds, we have a lot more to watch since I started throwing fruit that starts to go bad, apple cores and peelings, out under the tree in the front yard. we can sit and watch out the window on the world and they sit in the skyway tree that the squares use, and fly down to eat the fruit.

Ginny, you have the pretties cherry blossom trees in your town. I love the ones on the golf course. The pictures are awesome. In my hometown, many used to grace the streets, but here in the mountains, there are just a few, and they are a lighter PINK, and so pretty. You got some nice close-ups of them too.

How absolutely beautiful, my friend! The pink is the perfect shade of happiness. Thank you for sharing, as here in Pennsylvania, we are still mostly bare and brown with just some bits of green. Have a cozy evening!
