Dressed To Honk

You may remember the goose in a neighbor's front yard that was dressed for Christmas. Well, to my horror, this week he is totally naked!

But a few blocks away, I happened to see another goose who was well dressed. I love the cap with the pom pom.

And he had a real live squirrel buddy! Why can't people dress squirrels like they do geese?

They also had nice porch furniture and a pretty painting on their window.

That first goose must be feeling the cold! The one in his night gear is really cute and that little squirrel needs an outfit too. I wonder if someone at that house with the winter scene on the windows does local businesses?

Oh no, a naked goose. I remember when those were popular years ago. They seem to be coming back. I like the one dresses in buffalo plaid. I also like their little table and chair set.

I much prefer naked geese, also naked cows and dogs and cats. Au Naturals is my thing. Minimalist to the bone. I do like those chairs on the porch, they are the style from my childhood when that was the popular style. My grandfathers Motel and Resturant in Callahan Florida had those all over the place, outside the cabins and the resturant.

I love the little hat on the second one. That's a hoot.

They need to get the first goose dressed up. I just read a big article (can't remember where) about decorating geese is now a big trend. The article said that people dress them up because it expresses spirit and an act of being a friendly icebreaker and conversation maker. This looks like a gray squirrel.. we have a few around here.

Pretty cute! I hope the other goose gets some clothes on and doesn't freeze! :)

I've always wanted a dressed goose in my yard and when it was popular back in the 80's-early 90's I missed out. I want to get one now. They used to be,really hard to find.

What a cute outfit for the goose. Oh, those squirrels are still coming around my front yard too even in the cold, but I see less of them now, as winter's cold is keeping them away. I like the mint color of their outdoor furniture, such a charming set.

Have a terrific week, Ginny.

I looked up pictures of chocolate Babka, and it looks amazing. It looks similar to the Panettone, only that they twist the bread. I must try that now!

That first goose could take a lesson in dressing well from the second or perhaps his/her outfit was being designed.
