Every Witch Way

What's that up in the sky? It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ...a witch? And it's not even Halloween yet. But this is what we saw up in the sky as we were driving home from the store today. We had to stop into the nearby field and see what was going on. It was a group of men operating radio controlled model airplanes. This is just what my husband has been looking for, because he has a model plane, and can't control it enough to fly it. He needs advice. There were many planes there, but this was the most unusual. While Phil talked to the men, I took pictures of the witch airplane on her broom swooping back and forth in the sky. A small moment in my week, but one not to be forgotten. Bob, this one's for YOU!

"Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 19:31

"I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells. I will destroy your carved images and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands." Micah 5:12,13

Many years ago, we would pass an open field where folks gathered to fly their remote controlled planes. It was fun to watch. This one is really unique!

Wow, Ginny... You always see the most unique things.... I have seen remote-controlled planes plenty of times --but never one that looked like a witch..... How funny!!!!!

They used to have the remote-controlled airplanes in a park in Hendersonville. We enjoyed watching them...

Phil would love to do that... I hope he can learn how and fly his plane there.... That would be super...

Hope you had a great Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy

That is so cute Ginny. I want one like that. At first I thought it was a kite but when I read your post it was a toy airplane. What a clever idea. It surely attract lots of attention. I will surely stop too if I saw one like that. What a wonderful weekend you had. Have a wonderful week ahead then.

Very interesting post! Those remote controlled planes are fun to watch! The Scripture verses are very powerful and we learned a lot about that in the church in which I grew up. Folks just dismiss this admonition and don't take these issues seriously. God help us to have eyes to see the dangers He warns us about. Thanks!!

There is a club in our area for those who fly RC planes but I have never seen anything like the witch. That is so cool. It would be great to have around for Halloween.

I hope Phil got some tips for flying his plane.

I've seen radio-controlled planes before, but nothing like this. You certainly have a knack for being in the right place at the right time

Hi Ginny, I came over from Ruth's blog, saw your comment and decided to take a look at your blog. You have some very interesting and unique pics. I, like Betsy and Ruth, love all things of nature. I've enjoyed browsing through and decided to follow so I can be sure to come back. Have a wonderful week!

Wow, I bet that's a sight not a whole lot of people can claim to have actually seen...! (LOL) And you managed to get a photo!!!

At first I thought maybe it was some kind of kite. I've never seen a model plane "dressed up" before. If indeed I've seen one at all, in real life. Not sure if I have, actually.

What a great photo of the witch. You have an eye that can capture the unusual and bring it to the screen for the rest of us to enjoy. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary.

Oh, that's so cute - at first I thought it was a different kind of kite...must've been fun watching it glide through the sky.

If you go to my shop

http://www.SturmDM.etsy.com

you'll find several pages of stuff and I have it organized in sections if you're looking for certain things... you'll see that on the right hand side on the first page and just click on it, i.e. "Potholders and Hot pads" Thanks for the compliment and for visiting me. I appreciate your comments. Have a wonderful week. I'm finishing up another cactus tonight. This one's a little bigger and it'll be either a decoration or a paperweight because I'll fill the base with beans to make it heavier than just fiberfill.

Excellent eye with the camera! I too thought it was a kite at first. I have a brother-in-law who loves model airplanes. Well actually he loves anything mechanical that is remotely controlled. Very unique!
