Not Using My Head

Have you noticed anything different about the layout of my blog in the last three days? Well, you have heard of the headless horseman. I am now the headless blogger. That's right,
a few days ago, my headers all shrunk to the size of all the other pictures. It doesn't matter which template I use or what picture I use. Tiny header. That first picture is really the header. A blogger friend of mine is having the same problem. And another blogger friend says it is a new blogger issue that has not been fixed yet. Oh well, things could be worse. At least I can post. I have hope that at some point, my small header will grow.

"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in it's branches."
Matthew 13:31

You hope it grows..that was rich!Thing is, messing around with the templates could of given you different results than me..with just say backgrounds? Not sure? I could not figure out why it did the other (make the resolution screwy)? These are cute but you are clever..you'd always think of something!

Oh my, what a dilemma. But the most important little heads still shown through with their bright little smiles. See you fixed soon, I hope.

Wow, beautiful girls there Ginny, and I love your stripe coat, it reminds me of Christmas. By the way, we wore life vests in our pics, because we have to take a boat ride crossing towards the volcano. I was just laughing, hehhehe...could be used also when we fall off the crater. Happy days for you ahead and your beautiful family.

No matter what the size those smiles light up the page. Apparently it started off with the header photos being blurry and then changed to small. Here's the link to the thread on Blogger's forum: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=521bcedcdf938cd1&hl=en

Oh, you're too funny! LOL
Guess what? Last night, not yet having heard of this problem, I got it into my head to change my header at one of my blogs (the Picture Book). As you know, I don't do this as frequently as you, so it nearly drove me insane trying to figure out what "I" was doing wrong! I really thought it was I who had lost my head, haha. Then finally I gave up, and came over to your blog to read your latest post... And found your very small header picture... and read some comments that made me realize I had just happened to choose a very bad day for my exeriments. THEN I tried to write a comment about that here - but it would not post! Aaargh... That however was not Blogger's fault - it was my internet connection that for unknown reason went down. Well, at least that seems to be back in working order this morning ;)

thanks for the "heads" up.... think I'll leave my header alone for now... at least until the problem gets fixed!!!! ;o)

I haven't had any trouble but Diane in Australia gave me a heads-up a few days ago not to change my header for a while. She was having lots of problems and finally found out that others were too and that Blogger was fixing the problem. Which makes me think now I can't even remember if you use Blogger. I have to go back and see.

Big or small I always enjoy the headers you put up. Quite clever going headless for the shots in the post. You witty girl...lol
Love that happy little face, it just makes you want to smile

I haven't had the shrinking picture thing yet...but often the format of what I have typed in does not show when it gets posted.....crazy technology. Hope you have a good week Ginny!

Large or small photo - it always looks great! I've left my blog the same from day one - as I haven't got the faintest clue on how to change things around, lol!

Yeah, messing around with the header is always a bit risky. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. That's why I leave mine alone for so long - too much hassle trying to remember what I did. But you change yours all the time - it must be Blogger's fault!
Love the header today even if it is smaller. Your faces are all so happy.

I did wonder why your last few headers were smaller. But I thought you liked them that way... Good I know now...I'll stick with my dragonfly for a while.

Your angels are lovely! And I liked the verse! Here's hoping that your header grows!;))

Well that's no fun at all. I hope the Blog Doctor fix will solve your problem. You always have such a positive outlook. We could all learn from it. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

Hi Ginny, Your post did make me chuckle. I can relate. I have problems placing my photographs whenever I use the caption feature. Oh well. Nothing and nobody has been perfect except our Lord Jesus!

I think I'll leave my header alone until someone reports that the problem has been fixed.

Oh goodness, Ginny~ but you are right, things could be worse. Good attitude to have!
Thanks you for your thoughts on my blog. I know I tell you that frequently but I do appreicate your honesty and your warm kind words. I feel so appreciative of you!
Have a great evening!

I think I understand your frustration. I was never able to pull up a template that gave me that "all the way across the page" header. I just found one that worked and haven't changed it. I really had not noticed until this blog that there was any difference at all in the size and layout of your header. Those children are both adorable!

I haven't had internet all weekend (another snowstorm) until about an hour ago.. so I didn't know there had been issues. I hope your 'header' grows too! :-) Cute post & I always love they way you turn possible 'frustrations' into 'humor'!!! :-)

Have a Great week, Ginny!!

Sometimes Blogger has issues. I hope they fix the problem soon. Your blog is still wonderful, Ginny, header photos or not!

I'm sure it will work itself out again - like you say, at least you can post.

I've been "absent" from blogging the past few days - been crocheting my fingers to the bone making little heart shaped ornaments or picture frames...I'm having so much fun and I'll be photographing them soon so I can post some of them...

For me, I avoid taking my own photos.

But when i was young like your grand daughter, i loved to be in front of the camera.

Re: Travels. If it is God's will, my book will get published, then travels will be on the plans.

Oh dear, I hope things come back to normal soon for your blog. But at least you can still blog :D That must be your pretty, adorable Chinese grand daughter. She looks so sweet! Oh, you can read more about me in my About page at the top bar of my blog. Thanks very much for visiting. Be blessed today and everyday :D

It seems to have done just that. I have trouble with the position of my clock.. when viewed in Safari... sometimes it is fine, other times not... no rhyme or reason.

That must be so frustrating to someone who takes such great pictures! Whew. I haven't had that issue yet. Your granddaughter is precious.
