"Don't cry when the sun is gone, because the tears won't let you see the stars."
Violeta Parra
I took these pictures earlier this year, in the summer, I believe. My place in the sun was breathtaking, and even after it set, I wanted to stay.
"He puts poor people on their feet again; he re-kindles burned-out lives with fresh hope, restoring dignity and respect to their lives-a place in the sun! For the very structures of the earth are God's; he has laid out his operations on a firm foundation."
1 Samuel 2
As usual, I'm taking Monday off the computer, see you all on Tuesday!

Even when the sun is shining brightly in the winter-time, it can't compare to this.
The lord sure creates some awesome sun sets but you know how to capture them.

We don't get beautiful sunsets like that around here. What a treat to see yours!
Gorgeosu photos, Ginny! I don't see the sun set often, as my view is blocked by houses and buildings, so I am always in awe when I do see it.
Hi Friend, You always take the best sun pictures... I love them--- and I love being in the sun also.. The winter especially is a great time to feel the sun on your body--just to warm you up a little...
YES, God does rekindle our burned-out lives!
Hugs,
Betsy
A sunset is one of God's greatest masterpieces, I think!

You found a perfect place in the sun.
These are wonderful, Ginny.
