Puzzled

So what else is there to post these days except the jigsaws we have been doing? We usually only go out to either get drugs or groceries, and are pretty much isolated due to the Covid thing now. So here is one of our latest.

“The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer.”

I was just asking my daughter - what would we be doing if there wasn't Covid out there - and Ginny - neither one of us knew! lol

Oh what a darling puzzle, Ginny! So nice & colorful!! Yes, the COVID numbers are on the rapid rise again, as we all knew they would be. I could say more but I won't. :-/ Love, Andrea xoxo

I have a 1500 piece puzzle that I am working on - sometimes. Once I get the yard work done I hope to settle down with it. Been a long time since I finished one this size. It's of sunflowers.....

Pretty jigsaw puzzles. Most of the coffee shops and restaurants are open for dine-in but we have yet to meet up with our foodie friends.

The quote is hilarious at the end! You can always sit in a chair and take a picture of your toes like I did yesterday haha. I think we are all struggling because we don't do anything to talk about or take pictures of. Wait until you see the strange things I'm posting because I'm using my phone almost 100% to take a picture and use the phone taking it and put it in the Blogger and all that without touching anything else makes for strange post

Such a neat puzzle. I have been doing them on line lately, which I thoroughly enjoy, but I have a couple in the closet that I haven't opened up yet. Your posts are encouraging me to do that. Thanks Ginny :)

I wanted to answer your comment here, Ginny, on your blog so you'd be sure to see my response.

No, Metformin is the generic of Glucophage.... not the other way around. Yes, glucophage/metformin can indeed harm the kidneys, as can diabetes itself. That's why I have a kidney function test done every 12 weeks. And it's the extended-release form of glucophage/metformin that is suspect of causing cancer.... not the "instant" release version which is plain glucophage/metformin.

I have both hypertension and diabetes... both of which will kill the kidneys. So I have to take my chances with the glucophage, to try to keep my blood sugar in check. I make sure I have the proper blood work every 12 weeks.

High blood pressure and elevated blood glucose are both "symptoms" of illness. They can be elevated for many different reasons & illnesses. I have the diseases of hypertension and diabetes. I can't mess around.

You have inspired a blog post, my dear friend. I'll write it tomorrow.

Much love, Andrea xoxo

That quote from Paula Poundstone is funny and absolutely true!

Into the Green

While making a trip over Afton Mountain for a doctor appointment, I was fascinated by the beautiful green. The way the sun was shining on ...
