The Sunflower House

We only came across this house a few days ago, and it is only a few blocks away. When we stopped to take pictures, the lady came out. she told us she had never planted any before. She just threw some seeds out and they came right up!

Oh my, those are so pretty. And all she did was throw some seeds out. That would never happen for me.

They are so pretty! I planted some once but obviously not in the right spot, the flowers turned backwards lol. It's neat how Sunflowers follow the sun. Have a great weekend :)

Oh, Ginny, you find some of the best things to photograph. That place makes me smile just to look at it.

Precious cottage. Make more lovely, with the sunflowers.

But!!!!!

My poor husband!

He has tried and tried to grow sunflowers. Without luck. The critters eat them, as seeds.... And after they have sprouted a bit.

They would look so nice, along our back brown wood fence! But he has never been able to grow them.

Looks lovely. I'm just thinking, though... If all of these flowers scatter their seeds on the ground, what will it be like next summer?!

I've never seen him growing exactly like that are usually in a line but it could be because she threw the seeds out but whatever she did she did a good job and I would love love love to have those in my yard and the house that there in front of is really beautiful to That's my kind of house

Wow that is incredible! The lady must have a natural green thumb :-) There was one time a sunflower popped out under our deck. I think it was from the seed from bird feeder. I may try throwing some seeds and see if we will have magnificent sunflowers like hers :-)

They sure make a colorful statement. I'm guessing the birds love them as well.
