The Psycho House

This is a house on our block that we lovingly refer to as "The Psycho House". Just because it looks that way.

They flaunt their scary reputation in October, making ghosts fly from every window and door.

Do you believe in ghosts? I am not denying there are supernatural forces around, but I do not think they are the spirits of dead people. Why? Because the bible tells us the dead do not come back.

The living at least know something, even if it’s only that they’re going to die. But the dead know nothing and get nothing. They’re a minus that no one remembers. Their loves, their hates, yes, even their dreams, are long gone. There’s not a trace of them left in the affairs of this earth.

Ecclesiastes 9:4-6

I don't believe in ghosts either. I believe they are demons trying to trick us. God only allowed one person to be summoned one time and that was poor Samuel.

Before I became Christian years and years ago in my youth, I dabbled in witchcraft; I believed all of that garbage. I am so happy, Christ lifted me up, and out of all of the evil nonsense.

The psycho house, spooky too. The owner is very creative and I think he or she is having fun with the decoration.

I remember seeing this house before. I love how they have the ghosts going in and coming out of the windows.

Maybe Norman Bates' "ghost" agrees that it is the psycho house. Awesome sighting & share Ginny.

What is of some interest for me is just HOW 'ghost' became the shape & form we see them depicted in costume, art, literature.

And I think the bible is telling us the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (the Trinity) is one.

Is one...meaning one 'being'. Not a ghost per sΓ©

i remember this house and it does have a Norman Bates look to it. spooky even without the cute ghosts. I am wondering who decided white sheets are what ghosts look like. Maybe they draped a sheet over the spirit because it can't be seen? the house is perfect for halloween.

Awwwww, that is cute!

And work. they have to have someone climb up there, and attach those ghosts to the outside of high windows.

Could you take a picture at night, with it all lighted up????????? -smile-

And what a PURRRRRFECT blog look, this is today.

Shadows mutter,
mist replies;
darkness purrs
as midnight sighs.

I took a couple of photos I will put up on Halloween. I am impressed with those who go all out to decorate their homes. These are fun shots and I do like that house, beautiful architecture and fits in with the season. Thanks for taking these photos of your neighborhood. Always enjoy! As for do I believe in ghosts? Well, I try to keep an open mind on everything but I am a bit of a skeptic in this area.
