Crazy Train

We passed by this house today, and noticed their Christmas train decoration. It was made from some kind of strange reflectors, and glittered so much in the sun. That does not come through in the photos too well, but maybe you can get an idea.

It made me think of the Ozzy Osbourne song "Crazy Train". When I looked up the lyrics, I couldn't believe how they fit so well with what is happening in the world today.

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe. It's not too late
To learn how to love, and forget how to hate

Mental wounds not healing
Life's a bitter shame
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

Cool train. And, yes...fitting lyrics.

That's a cute train.
Those lyrics are very fitting for our current situation.

Hmmm....I've never read the lyrics to that song though I've heard it hundreds of times. I think I may like the lyrics more than I like the actual song.

now this is my kind of decoration. love it!! and it is just as pretty in sunshine as it would be in the dark.. the one in the header is just gorgeous... i have never heard the song or read the words. they fit our USA like a glove fits Ariana Grande...which is a sad thing, the first thing on news that greeted us today was the deadly shooting at a school in MI, 3 dead 12 wounded.this is common in our country now.

It's a lovely decoration on that fence. Great catch Ginny! As for the poem, yes it fits and in this day and age we hear things instantaneously through the internet. For instance, I follow my hometown in England online, and I read things that happened a few minutes ago sometimes, thankfully mostly cheerful. Many layers in everyone's onion, as the old saying goes.

I always love your header shots.
