We found ourselves behind this vehicle in a drive-thru line.
As we got closer, I noticed something. It was a Yellow Cab!
Yet not yellow. How long has this been going on? Am I this far behind the times?
Not only that, it had this joke on the back. Do all Yellow Cabs that aren't yellow now have jokes on the back? It WAS nice to see that the Ubers have not pushed the cabs out of existance.

I've never seen a cab like that. I think the cab companies are having a hard time now that Uber and Lyft are so popular.
Well isn't that interesting. Maybe this would explain why I haven't seen a cab around in a long time.
I don't think we even have yellow cabs here (the company). I've only seen American Cab...no joke.
Interesting to see a yellow cab that is not yellow. If you were not close behind to notice the word yellow, you wouldn't know that it is a yellow taxi. I think it is a good idea to have jokes on the back of these taxis.
If I need a taxi, Yellow Cab is who I call. Ubers just don't seem safe to me! But I've never seen a non-yellow Yellow Cab. Times must be changing, indeed. Thanks for filling me in, Ginny! ~Andrea xoxoxo

of course i did research, looked at this website, and it is yellow cab of charlottsville, not The Yellow Cab and it does have yellow colored cabs, and all yellow cabs in NY are painted yellow whether they are yellow cabs or not because its the law.. there is more brahahah. this is the best looking one i have ever seen and what a great idea to put jokes on it... we have 3 locals and 2 of them look like junk cars and i would not ride in them, the 3rd one is Bruce Taxi and they are white and look like old recycled cop cars

I haven't seen a taxi in our area in ages..I guess Uber and Lyft have taken over..
Memories of being and working in NYC and seeing a gazillion yellow cabs up and down the streets was really fascinating to me. Everybody takes them or rides buses to get anywhere.
