Sunday Sunset - After The Storm

We just had a big thunderstorm, and as soon as it was over we went up on the hill to catch the sunset. Sunsets are always the most beautiful right after a storm.

“A nasty stormline comes rumbling ominously out of the northwest. The birds eat more quickly as the woods grow darker.”

some of these look like molten lava flowing. absolutely stunning, and you are right, storms make for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. I never tire of sky watching no matter what it is doing.

You're right, Ginny, the skies are always so beautiful after the rain comes. These are magnificent skies that you shared today. Lots of oranges in them, reminds me of Autumn. I think that last one is my favorite. Have a good week ahead, Ginny.

Wow! Always love your sunsets! We have had quite a few downpours lately and some really windy weather a few days ago.
