Twilight

Twilight, that's the time our four o clocks open up. They only open in the evening, and are all closed up in the daytime.

We have had them out back and at the side of the house every year for over 30 years! The multi-color ones are each one different.

“Twilight - a time of pause when nature changes her guard. All living things would fade and die from too much light or too much dark, if twilight were not.”

Howard Thurman

They're pretty. I wonder why they do that?

I think I like the yellow with pink veins best, but it is hard to decide. 30 years of glory at twilight. I love the dusk of dawn and the twilight of the evening. both are amazing times of the day for light

They are so pretty! I'm sure you enjoy them all the more knowing that their time is so limited. Isn't it that way with so many things. I find that the older I get the more I seem to appreciate life.
