This post is all due to The Mad One, known as The Mad Snapper. She did a post about the Pantone color of the year, Peach Fuzz. For one thing, I hate the name! Why not something pretty, like Peaches 'N Cream? Who wants Peach Fuzz on their walls?? But I digress. Two of our rooms are painted peach.
The Mad One herself does NOT like peach. She may even go as far as hating it! Maybe she will like mine better when she sees that I have seafoam carpets. She loves aqua-type colors. Here it is with the matching peach trash can. The carpet is much more seafoamy, as the camera could not capture it right!
I also have these pretty peach storage boxes and a peach striped chair.
Plus this peach mini cabinet with drawers.
By now I am assuming The Mad One may be actually gagging. Perhaps these lovely plants in the room will calm her down.

I don't thinK I have a single peach color in our home. Your rooms have very pretty shades of peach and I know that the seafoam color is a great contrast. Guess I need to take a look at this year's home colors....I might just have to add a touch ofnPeach.
Thanks for making me laugh out loud! I can't wait to hear what the Mad Snapper will have to say about this post.
It is a pretty peach color and along with the seafoam carpet is very calming and soft looking!
That was funny...I will have to check in to see what Mad Snapper says. I like the peach color and seafoam look good together.
I can’t wait to see what The Mad One writes. You two are a hoot and you did make me laugh. You are right about the name peach fuzz. It is an icky name. I like your rooms, painted walls and color of your carpet. It is a very pretty combination, along with all the matching additions. Now let’s see what Sandra says :)
Oh my goodness, that quote is great. I came back as I realized I hadn’t read it. Loved it!
I love this post... I love the poster and seeing your house.
The peachy colour is calming and peaceful vibe.
I think your peach walls look very pretty. It's a nice soft color. It also goes well with the seafoam colored carpet.
I don't think I have anything peach in my house.
You are wrong. I don't HATE peach, I just don't have any or wear that color. I really like your two peach rooms and agree the seafoam goes with it. now i am going to blow everyones mind and say. When we moved in this house in 1989, I had a shades of blue, cheap for used store set of two sofas. I did hate them. they were what we could afford. the first house I sold in RE, i bought a sofa and huge chair, and the were in the exact same colors as your peach and grey chairs. they were peach, aqua and a littl gray, like someone smeared paint samples. I loved them. so there, the Mad One Has Spoken and no one new what I would say... just don't start painting the front of your house PEACH. ha ha.. like for Easter. yes, i do hate the color of our shutters on the house..they might be peach with orange, not sure
I don't mind the color peach, but nothing in our home is that color.
You are too funny! I don't have any peach in my house, but when we got married peach was the in color and it's what all our bridesmaids wore.
HaHa Ginny, what a great post.. Love the quote at the end and peach looks lovely in your home. The seafoam carpets look perfect with it.
So fun to see the humor between you and "MadSnapper".

This was a fun post, I agree, and your leach walls and sea foam carpet seemed to go well together along with all the matching accessories. Our wall color is off white which is the standard in the mill apt. Residents can repaint the walls and will either have to have it repainted back to the original or if an incoming resident likes the color it can remain. I'm not sure in the future what would happen. We have chosen to leave the color "as is" and hang photos and other art on some of the walls. But in our VA home, we had a purple bathroom, yellow kitchen and mint green bedroom so we did go color wild!
That surprises me that the color of the year is Peach Fuzz. It's usually a vibrant color. I don't have any peach in my home, but it is a calming color. And I do LOVE a good juicy peach. Your peach walls are pretty.
Have a blessed week in the new year, Ginny.

**the big bush in front of Nel's house is a Camellia Bush I believe. The flowers are so big and sturdy, it was hard not to gaze at them for awhile.
Don't have any peach colorer walls but certainly not opposed to it. Your walls look nice.
In my house I have two different shades of blue, gray, and yellow.
Thanks for the chuckles, Ginny. This was a very fun post.
Your peach rooms all look lovely. And is that a better picture of the foam carpet in the one with the pink cabinets?
Oops. I meant with the mini peach cabinets.
