Nighttime At The Painted House

Remember the house I always post, the one they paint and decorate for every holiday? I don't think I have ever showed you the house in the dark! I had never seen it in the dark till a couple days ago, and it looks totally different! Here it is in the day.

And here it is at night.

See the star way over the roof? It keeps changing colors!

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Oscar Wilde

You see many stars in the sky at night, but not when the sun rises. Can you therefore say that there are no stars in the heavens during the day? Because you cannot find God in the days of your ignorance, say not that there is no God.

Ramakrishna

What a difference.
It looks beautiful at night. The clutter turns magical.

I like it much much better at night. day time is way to busy for me. no wonder they still have it all up. it must take weeks to put it all out there

Never been here before ... somehow I wandered to this Blog.

Great quotes, thanx.

Are the lights on the house just for Christmas, or every day?

God bless.

Wow, that sure looks different at night. I like it. During the day it looks cluttered. I can't help wondering what their electric bill is like with all those lights.

Very festive and the night lights are so very pretty. This family sure knows how to decorate big time. It is all about enjoying the things that bring us happiness. The star is neat how it changes colors. I love seeing the lights at night

Ooooo, it does look pretty all lit up at night! I like that snowflake that changes color too! Ginny, I love the Oscar Wilde quote you shared, and I will write that one down.

Have a wonderful week.

It does look better at night but still it is so over done.

I like it better at night, too. The snowflake that changes color is pretty. I wouldn’t mind something like that in my yard.

I agree with those who previously commented in saying that the night lights are better than the day time views. And, I was also wondering how long this display will remain and then what will replace it? i rather liked the fact that it was still set up for Christmas. Our village remains set up too and we enjoy it lighted up each night.

Amazing how different something looks during the day, and then at night! So thankful that the night never lasts forever. Many blessings to you!

It is always intriguing to me to see the differences in how people decorate for holidays, from ultra professional looking to obviously home made. I love seeing it all!

Ginny you need to stop by that house and interview them for your blog. They go to soooooooooooooo much work. I love it both in the day and night.
