No, the rising moon was not full tonight. But when full, it will be a Super Harvest Moon, so it was brighter than usual. So I couldn't resist.
You’ll have no more
need of the sun by day nor the brightness of the moon at
night. God will be your eternal light, your God will bathe you in
splendor. Your sun will never go down, your moon will never
fade. I will be your eternal light. Your days of grieving are over.
Isaiah 60:8

its beautiful no matter if it is not full.. when I go out with Beau at 3 there is no need for a flashlight, by 5 am it is pitch dark until the sun comes up after 7
Your pictures of the moon never fail to impress me. They're fantastic.
My daughters always know when a full moon is out. Something about a full moon and how the students are so energized. Your camera really takes great pictures and I am always impressed with how you capture the sunsets and the moon so beautifully.
Since I have never taken a great moon shot, it's always wonderful to appreciate the captures of others, so thanks Ginny for sharing these beautiful images of the harvest moon.
Your sunset sky is beautiful, but I really like your moon photos.
I can never take a good moon shot. Yours are always so stunning.

My goodness those moon shots are gorgeous!
I love your moon shots!
Great verse too.
Beautiful shots.
I think I read that in addition to it being a full harvest moon this month there's also going to be a lunar eclipse?
Oh, I saw that moon here yesterday too, from my balcony... Looking just like that! Unfortunately, my camera is not good enough to ever do the moon justice.
I love the harvest moon, your photos are beautiful/
Blessings,
Sue
