For the last several months, our butcher has been getting very creative with ground beef. I guess you could say he's kind of a meat sculptor. So now I always bring my camera to the grocery store with me. Here are some creations from Halloween and Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see what he does for Easter!
"On this mountain the Lord almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Soverign lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth." Isaiah 25

This is to funny for words :-). You can see the kitchen here. The first floor of our house is just one big room with the kitchen sitting between the living room and dining room.

Have a great day, Ginny. Blessings...Mary
Oh how funny, your butcher is very creative and has a great sense of humor. I wonder what he will do for Valentine's Day?
(lol)..this is hilarious! I'd make it a point to bring my camera too! I've never seen anyone do that..or at least that I can recall? Your header photo looks so yummy..but the photo of the ground pig face makes a connection I think I subconsciously try not to connect. The verse..a good one, yet don't you sometimes think about how we won't need to eat then..after all the trouble it cause us here? I guess we won't really miss it or be concerned like some other things I can think of?
(Oh, that was one of my Myna birds that got out this morning).
Tell him, he should be an artist instead of being a butcher.
I think I'll go vegetarian and choose those painted upside down fruit & veg arrangements you had recently... ;)
Okay - this does not help me WANT to eat meat!!! Though it is very funny!!! So cool that he can have fun like that at his job...
What a hoot--a butcher with a sense of humor and the talent to back it up. Of course, I don't think his "creations" will ever end up in a museum!!
Best,
Bonnie
These are so funny. I need to have a talk with the butcher at work. I think he's slacking...lol
With such creativity I'd surely carry my camera to the butcher's too! He's good!!
these are very creative. never seen decorated meat before. and we both know SQ is waiting for a burger shaped like a heart, she is also known as Heart queen. ha ha.. thanks for sharing. hugs from florida sis and hope the shots are holding on
Your butcher is pretty clever. I can't wait to see his Valentines heart or Easter Bunny!
I just read your beautiful pancy post. Your pictures are amazing.
I would love to move closer to the ocean, but not right now. It is not the right time to sell our house :( Otherwise, I would probably build up at my mothers.

Your butcher has a very creative imagination! I'm not sure I would have wanted to put that one sign on the meat though. Who wants to buy it when the suggestion is that it died from sickness! ☻
Haha.. that's Awesome!! Proof you can be creative, have a sense of humor and enjoy your job... all at the same time!!! Love this! Thanks for bringing your camera!!
Have a wonderful week, Ginny!!
HUGS,
Coreen
Oh my goodness! I have never seen artwork with ground beef. That is so funny! I'm sure there's probably a lot of people who take pictures of that! Thanks for sharing them with us!
Have a great week. :)
Since I am a strict vegetarian, I dont know what to say... But he surely is creative..
Have a wonderful day:-)
I'm glad you take your camera to the grocery store with you. These have to be the most innovative meat displays I've ever seen.
I'm glad you pack that camera everywhere, Ginny! Who knew you could find such fun in the butcher's shop?
So funny! Creative butcher!

Very funny. I would think his boss would be asking him if he didn't have something better to do.:) Of course, those thing could bring in business I guess.
I wonder if sales have gone up ... these are great.
Very creative butcher and funny displays! Hate to buy anything and mess up his display, lol!!
Tee hee hee! Your local butcher is awesome! I love his sense of humor and creativity!
The sandwich on your banner is making me sooooo....hungry!
Definitely not your average butcher shop, but worth a chuckle.
Heeehehehehe, I shall never look at a pound of hamburger the same again! Ya crack me up girl!
God bless ya and have a marvelous week sweetie!!!

He is very creative, Ginny... I especially love the last one, the turkey... WONDERFUL...
Is that a 'local' store or a chain like Krogers??? I'll bet it is a local supermarket...
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
Now THAT is funny!
Hi Ginny, Talk about fun and funny! I think it is so nice that the Butcher is allowed to have free reign and decorate the meat case seasonally. Thanks for the unique views. Have a super day tomorrow!
Your butcher is very imaginiative, Betsy and it seems he has a wonderful sense of humor!
This is so cute!! Sounds like someone is bored. haha. Love it.
