Bees On Pink Zinnias

This is my Father's world, and to my listening ears
all nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
This is my Father's world: I rest me in the thought
of rocks and trees, of skies and seas;
his hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Father's world, the birds their carols raise
the morning light, the lily white declare their maker's praise.
This is my Father's world: He shines in  all that's fair;
in the rustling grass I hear Him pass;
He speaks to me everywhere.

You got so many wonderful photos of that busy bee, Ginny! I hope you are careful not to get too close and be stung!

I also enjoyed reading the lovely verse.

Beautiful poem! Ginny , yet again I am in awe of how beautiful your photos are! You should seriously think of writing a book based on this blog.

I love the photos... what a beautiful bee... and that lovely poem -- it is a song too, isn't it?

I had a little sad moment today... speaking creatures from our father's world.... a little bug got caught on the wet paint of our deck. And by the time I got to him, paint had dried on his back and some on his tiny, tiny legs. I felt so bad..... I even saw his beady, little eyes and said I was sorry he got caught. Because now he couldn't fly or hardly walk.

The words are so beautiful Ginny!! "This is my Father's world..all nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres- to the last stanza- in the restless grass, I hear Him pass" wow!!
The bees are so pretty and transparent (on one of my favorite flowers too)-

Ginny, you got some really great shots of the bumble bee. He seems to be enjoying those beautiful zinnias. You are getting really good at macro shots.

You've got me thinking, I haven't seen any bumble bees here lately.

One of my very favorite hymns. I love to see the bees enjoying the zinnias.

Love the different angles of your images of the "busy bee."This hymn was a favorite of mine as a child and still sounds in head and heart on a beautiful days or when I become captured by a bee on a zinnia!
Thanks for providing both today!
