Roses

I have a winner!! I put all your names in this basket and then drew, and I picked Ann at Snap Edit & Scrap. Congratulations, Anne. Please send me your address so I can mail you the purse! For all my other followers, I give the last roses of summer. I saw then a week or two ago and was surprised that there were any left this late in the season.  I will be having other giveaways, so there will still be a chance for you all to win!

"The spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners...To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit."

I was thinking as the photos first loaded that it is late for roses. When I flew into our airport, I was surprised to see snow already on the mountains.

You had some beautiful late-season roses. We still have a few roses trying to bloom. I'm not sure they will make it.

I was on my way to teach English at my church and found that the roses were at full bloom. I had not taken time to smell roses, and I better do before the seasons gone.

Those parasites in the water must be pretty bad.
