Through The Wires Thursday

This weekend, we happened to drive by this pale pink house with rainbows on the chimneys. It really tickled me, what a great idea! I wish we had a chimney like this, we would always be living under a rainbow!! Till then, guess I'll just have to follow this ice-cream truck around the neighborhood. Not as good as a chimney, but it will have to do for now.

“Above the dome there was something that looked like a throne, sky-blue like a sapphire, with a human-like figure towering above the throne. ..Brightness everywhere! The way a rainbow springs out of the sky on a rainy day—that's what it was like. It turned out to be the Glory of God! When I saw all this, I fell to my knees, my face to the ground.”
Ezekiel 1

What a neat chimney... I've never seen one like that... Glad you saw it and posted it.

On my Photo Shop Elements program, there's a gizmo that can take out those wretched lines.... It will zap out all kinds of unwanted things in photos.... Makes me feel powerful when I use it!!!! ha

Hugs,
Betsy

you are so creative, you even see beauty in the power lines. Our houses are so old fashion, we have lines to our house.

That is a really cool chimney Ginny. It would be like living under a rainbow. I wonder what my hubby would say if I told him I wanted to paint our chimney? HaHa!

Cute, cute photos! Love that colorful and whimsical chimney, especially.
My older cats are slowly getting used to the kitten. Harriet thinks she is mommy to the kitten!

staring at the header shot my first thought was WHO would go up there to paint that rainbow? you know it would not be US... LOL. great shot of it and i like the house through the wires. a pretty and very happy looking home. i would not mind living in the ice cream truck, but then i would not fit in the helicopter if needed.

That chimney certainly stands out so even Santa won't miss it! Certainly great for giving someone directions!

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth. Gen. 9:16

Terrific rainbow chimney. I guess they feel their home is the pot at the end of the rainbow.
I think they are very bold in painting it.
Love the ice cream truck too.

*** I meant to say the home was the pot of GOLD at the en of the rainbow.
That I think makes more sense than what I wrote before...

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a more colorful chimney. How neat! And I'd follow that ice cream truck, too, but not just because it's cute. teehee

Rainbows make me smile....they are really cool....maybe I should paint RRC like a rainbow....

Well isn't that a neat idea. No chimney on our house so I guess I won't be living under a rainbow. I wish I had the big front porch like that house has.

What a lovely chimney! Glad you posted these photos!!

About your question on my blog, I went up close to the dragonfly to take the picture. It was resting and didn't seem to mind my presence at all!:)

I love that chimney. I am always amazed in what you find to capture. I think you are already living under a "rainbow". Looking at life through your eyes is so refreshing, so full of wonder. We are alike in that way, but you, my friend, trump me with all your really fun, neat posts like this one. Blessings.
