Forgotten Beauty

I am getting so forgetful. I used to know this flower's name, but I have forgotten. I find it so intricate and lovely! Do you know what it is?

Flowers have an expression of countenance as much as men or animals. Some seem to smile; some have a sad expression; some are pensive and diffident; others again are plain, honest and upright, like the broad-faced sunflower and the hollyhock.

I DO NOT OTHER THAN GORGEOUS. It is like a flower within a flower - I have never seen one before, but I know someone will know. Love your cows.

I don't know either, Ginny, but it certainly is beautiful. The red part looks like a piece of velvet fabric. Love, Andrea xoxo

I don't know what it is but I do know it sure is pretty. I thought the one with the yellow was pretty but I like the one with the pink and white even better.

They look like single dahlias ...or mignon dailies. Just a guess.

They're beautiful Ginny! I checked on my Plant app and it said it was a garden dahlia but didn't look exactly like this one. I found a very similar flower but in blue here.
