The Meeting

The vultures were circling over the field the other day.

They decided to hold a meeting on the hay bales.

These guys were watching, and they looked scared to death. But then they always look scared to death.

“If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings.”

When the vultures meet...something not good is going to happen? I hope the rabbit is spared.

I love Dave Barry. This is one bird I'm not thrilled over. And they always go against the rules! They are one species that really needs to cover up with face masks ...should be mandantory!

I love to watch them circle as they're hunting for food but boy are they ugly.

Great photos! I wonder what vultures were discussing about in their meeting. They may make bunnies feel uneasy haha :-)

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

It's the vultures heads that make them look so ugly, if they only had a few feathers on their heads they would look better.

It looks like God's garbage guys were having a consult on where to go next for their roadkill Buffet! The bunnies are adorable. And that quote is absolutely true! Having been raised in a small Baptist Church the things that cause the most problems in the church was every time there was a meeting of any kind and it didn't matter if there was five people or 20 people or a hundred people in that meeting there was always huge problems that came from the meeting

I wonder if the cattle eat the hay after those guys sit on it and do their thing.

Those bunnies should look scared to death - they are going to be their lunch??

Vultures are beautiful in flight, but not that lovely close up.

Where I used to work if they wanted you at the meeting they just needed to serve breakfast or lunch!

What a fun post Ginny. The quote is a good one.

Wonderful pictures. Those vultures are not very nice looking creatures, though--although their mothers probably think they're beautiful, haha.
