4th Of July 2021

Happy 4th Of July! Our son & granddaughter have colds, so we are postponing our fireworks celebration till perhaps mid-week. Then I hope to post photos. I hope all of you have a great holiday, and stay cool! Here are a few of my more patriotic shots.

Beautiful post. Oh goodness, summer colds are the worst. My great grandboy Harrison had one a few weeks ago. I was popping extra Vitamin C like candy. His sister was teething and incredibly miserable. Poor lil girl! I know you will enjoy your gathering with your phamily once they feel better. Lots of fluids and lots of Vitamin C works wonders along with chicken noddle soup. :-)
I am glad I am not alone with the sunflower failures too. I also have had a friend give me cuttings from Bleeding Heart and paid a king's ransom for two plants at a local nursery. None of them survived. Yet another friend said she remembers her grandmother taking a half dead Bleeding Heart plant her boss was going to toss , home and watered it and it was blooming beautifully for years.
Have a safe 4th and take care.

These are beautiful sky photos. You know, I am a morning person, so I always see the sunrises more than the sunsets. Wishing you good July days, and this is a delightful quote that you shared. : )
