The Haze

We have been getting a lot of haze from the wildfires up north and west. This has made the setting sun all fifferent kinds of beautiful colors! Here it is from last night on the hill, in order.

Notice the bird flying over the sun?

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

1 Corinthians 13

This is strange Ginny. We had an orange moon last night and this is unusual. We haven't had any wild fires over here in uk so wonder why this is.

Someone said it was pink here the other day because of the fires. I never would have thought it would make a difference this far away.
These pictures are really pretty.

it is beautiful, but since I know why, i know it is not good that it is pink. it is hard to beleive all that smoke is coming from thousands of miles away. still beautiful though

First of all, that is a very special verse, and I will think of it all day. Wow, look at these sun photos, they are incredible! Nature is so beautiful, isn't it? So sorry you've had the wildfires. We get them often here in California too, and everything is so dry right now. We need rain! I hope the smoke clears out in your area, and you can see things more clearly. : )

Amazing photos!

Ours was clear and big and bright, last night!

We had had lots of rain and T-storms, which cleared the air.

Full Moon this weekend. Still have to look up exact date.

We have some haze too, but not that much. It makes a gorgeous sunset!

At least the smoke gives some interesting sunsets. We’ve had lots of smoke, but also clouds so no sunsets to be seen.

It's amazing to see these photos and realize its due to the fires so far away. I read on my local neighborhood app that our air quality was being affected also.

Gorgeous moon in different shades of pink. Sad about the fires.

I've heard that the wildfire smoke makes for some beautiful sunsets. My youngest daughter told me our sunsets are the same, for that very reason. ~Andrea xoxoxo
