Hair Art

This lady's name is Latetita Ky. I saw her on the news, and took these pictures while it was on T.V. She makes hair sculptures.

She also holds the record for jump roping with a long cord of her own hair; 60 jumps in 30 seconds. She does admit that the jump rope hair is extensions, as I suppose all these other creations are as well. So would you still consider this her own hair? Anyway, she still has an unusual talent!

I think my favorite is this last one. What about you?

When she got him to sleep, his head on her lap, she motioned to a man to cut off the seven braids of his hair. Immediately he began to grow weak. His strength drained from him.

That is a very unusual talent. I can't imagine wanting any of that done with my hair. Like Anni said, it's too odd for me too

Oh my! I cannot imagine! This is an amazing.... talent? I can't get my thin wispy hair to do anything! You find the bestest things to share!

Wow, I've never seen anything like it. I wonder how long it takes her to form one of those hair sculptures... The advantage (hrm) of my own hair is that it hardly takes more than five minutes to dry (in room temperature) after washing it these days...

I like the lion, but I would never do that to my hair - lol.

I would not want any of these. But imagine what she can do if she can do this.

THIS will stop your Readers, in their tracks!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!

I don't know how a woman would live, with such... But to make a huge statement, at some fancy party, I suppose they could live with it, for an evening.

LOL

I guess I like the zebra the best...It must take a long time to create.
It is fascinating and good for the art of it and an attention getter but practical..nope.
Thanks for showing us something so unusual today.

I know beyond a shadow of. doubt, that she would not be able to do this with the few hair I have left.

Hmmm - I couldn't do this, but it's so different that I wouldn't want to! :)

She is very talented and I like how people channel their creativity into the unusual. It is so different! I like that last one too.

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
