New Plants

I got some more house plants. As the older ones are doing well, I got encouraged!

This one is a Pixie Arrowhead, because it stays very small.

This purpl one is called an Oyster Plant.

This is a type of Wandering Jew, and has the same purple color as the Oyster Plant.

Believe it or not, this is a tiny Philodendron, a variety called Prince Of Orange.

The plant on the left is called a Lifesaver succulent, because it's blooms look like big Lifesavers candy.

And both of my chinese Evergreens are really growing.

If you are a gardener, you can always put "Plant Manager" on your résumé.

I think you chose some beautiful plants. I would love to see the blooms of the lifesaver succulent.

I am so envious of those who know the names of plants (I know only a few) and can grow them indoors. My late mother was like that. She could poke and prod at a brown stick and mist it and coo at it, and it would spring to life within days. She knew all the names and I can still hear her talking about her Wandering Jew. But I must confess I am having a hard time connecting the dots between a Lifesaver succulent and an actual lifesaver candy, haaahahaha! Guess I'd need to see the blooms. xoxo

You've got some pretty ones! I can't keep plants alive in the house. My daughter has a green thumb though.

Ooooo, these are interesting house plants. I like the purple one. I have never been good with house plants, so I hope yours do well. These look a bit like cactus type plants, so they might not require too much to keep them thriving.
