Ornament

I saw this in Target a few days ago. It is a Christmas tree ornament. I have really never seen anything like this little polar bear in a wheelchair. Any thoughts?

It's cute but I much prefer traditional ornaments. I will admit that I have some on my tree that aren't traditional ones though.

It is probably for someone with a disability that would appreciate it. I know some who collect ornaments that tell a story of their lives or some loved one.

Awwww.... I like it. I'm sure it's for someone... perhaps a child... who is also in a wheelchair. So they won't feel so alone. ~Andrea xoxo

Never seen one like this. I think it will make a lovely ornament on a Christmas tree. Enjoy your weekend.

this is really odd, I would not think there would be a market for enough of them to be sold. there is nothing on google search or on target about his.. was there more than one? maybe someone left it there.. hummmm

This polar bear ornament would be so special for someone who uses a wheelchair. It's cute, and I like its green scarf. Target is the best. I really miss shopping there. We have one about 50 minutes away and haven't been to it yet.

Have a blessed day, Ginny.

I think that is cute, especially for someone who is wheelchair bound.

Its a tender feeling ornament. A very specific audience though. It probably wouldn't go on mine.

Target has always tried to be a very inclusive store! I remember years ago they had a advertisement with a Down Syndrome child in it and I thought it was the greatest thing!

Awwwww that's sweet for just the right person to put on their tree. xoxo

I looked at this and immediately thought it would be a gift for a child who has a disability/wheel chair. From a parent to that child, or grandparent, aunt/uncle, perhaps, or close friends. I have seen doll companies who have the same idea, a doll in a wheel chair. The idea of inclusivity is heading in the right direction.

Was there more than one of them? For sale? It doesn't really look like a mass-produced item, unless it's a Famous Mouse from some story I don't know. Tickles the imagination though, so if there isn't a story already, one would want to make one up!!

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
