The Fall Things

So, here is what our home looks like in the fall. I leave them out from September till the day after Thanksgiving. I made this bouquet for the end table.

I put mini pinecones in the vase and wrapped the top with burlap & lace ribbon.

On the kitchen table.

The coffee corner.

Houses from Wal Mart for about $4.00.

The boxes are in the living room; they're great for storage.

Also in the living room.

The kitchen shelves

I found the fall angel for $3.00 because it was out of season.

This squirrel is storing up candy for the winter instead of nuts.

You can do so much with the tiered shelves.

“It was November — the month of crimson sunsets, parting birds, deep, sad hymns of the sea, passionate wind-songs in the pines.”

You have so many wonderful fall decorations. I love those houses. I've been wanting a tiered tray because I've seen them all over the place. I was going to make one but have never been able to find just the right stuff.

In reply to your question... "The Maids" is a housecleaning service. I have had them in the past. Today, Fri., they are coming.

I am excited!!!!!!! -smile-

Oh, I love seeing all your Fall goodies around your house, Ginny. You have decorated so nicely for the season. There's so many things I like, and to mention a few.....I'll start with the coffee corner. LOVE IT, and how charming that is. The houses at Walmart that say Blessed are so precious. The plaid pumpkin is so cute. Have never seen one like that before. The Fall angel is sweet, and although I'm not fond of the squirrels, that candy dish is too cute. That would be perfect in my home because the squirrels mischievously play in my yard. What a pretty flower arrangement you made using pine cones. It all looks so nice, Ginny. Thanks for sharing it with us. What a lovely post to start my morning.

ps.....oh, and the gnomes really made me smile. : )

Such lovely fall decorations. Everywhere you look it has a warm and cozy feel to it.
I am a total failure this year. Too much going on in our lives and our eBay "stuff" is from one end of the house to the other...Gotta get my act together!!!
