The sun was shining on the Dogwood trees the other day. Their leaves are spent now, and turning colors. And they have started getting their berries.

I never knew dogwood trees had berries. Are they edible?
I didn't realize that dogwood trees had berries either.
I've heard the legend of the dogwood tree many times.
autumn is my favorite season and the leaves changing color is one of the main reasons!! we had a beautiful dogwood in our front yard for about 40 years but it died off and last year and we had to have it removed. i would like to replace it with another dogwood!!
Dogwood leaves get so beautiful in the fall...I used to tell Roger that they are almost as pretty in the fall as in the spring.
I'm always wistful when the dogwoods all down our street start to "turn" ... and they are already beginning! I think it's early but I saw it with my own eyes. I love the look of the berries! xoxo
