The Early Birds

When we were driving last week, I could not BELIEVE all the houses that had their Halloween decorations out! It was barely September! Here are just a few of them.

Some of those decorations are huge. It's a little early for Halloween decorations for me but I guess you just gotta do what makes you happy.

I'm not a Halloween fan, so I stick with Fall decor. I don't even have that out yet. I'm trying to hang on to Summer!

They have to get their Halloween decorations out now so the can put up Christmas decorations by the end of October.

I find the spooky Halloween decorations in your part of the world strange enough even when just for that weekend, and starting it all already in September makes absolutely no sense to me at all...

Holiday decorations get put up earlier and earlier every year.

I'm not a fan of Halloween at all. I really dislike seeing all of the ghoulish things and I particularly don't like all the little kids seeing them all the time. Much too early too.

Oh my goodness, earlier and earlier! I have seen a couple of houses near us too. Very festive photos for the theme.

I honestly do not understand what is driving this obsession with Halloween, which seems to begin earlier and earlier each year. I mean do we really need two MONTHS of those decorations? Hahaha I am just astounded at that. BUT it was still July when TG and I were at a Cracker Barrel and there were the first inklings of Halloween "stuff" .... JULY! However I like it because I saw a beautiful solid marble skull cutting board for only $20 and I bought it and I love it. Silver lining! Hahaha xoxo

I am not crazy about a lot of it...some I don't mind. I would not mind pumpkins now, but I would get tired of the big old ugly decorations real quick.

I suppose that people put them out early since this is a 1-day celebration, but I have only seen a couple in areas we've been driving.

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
