Beauty In The Grocery Store

Believe it or not, I found these sunflowers in the grocery store. So stunning that I wonder if they are somehow dyed, despite the thin stripes they have. But I know there are an awful lot of different colors of sunflowers. What do you think?

An acre of land between the shore and the hills...
A garden I need never go beyond,
Broken but neat, whose sunflowers every one
Are fit to be the sign of the Rising Sun...

I don't think their dad I think they're hybrids that somebody has created. They're beautiful but I prefer the ones that God made yellow. And not the kind that man has doctored up. I saw yellow ones in our Publix when I was picking up my prescriptions but my phone was in the car. We live about 50 miles from a sunflower farm and I didn't even know that until a blogger posted pictures and said where it was.

I don't know if they're dyed or perhaps had dye in their water, to turn them red. Whatever the case, those sunflowers are beautiful!!! Love, Andrea xoxo

Have never seen such sunflowers! But they are beautiful!!!!

My husband has tried for years, to grow regular sunflowers and he can not. Either 'critters' eat the seeds. Or something else happens to them. -sigh- He has given up. -chuckle-

And yet, some people can grow them easily. -smile-
