Lost So Easily

Today we passed this tiny little tree. I loved the brilliant leaves. In doing a bit of research, it looks just like a Yellow Birch, so that is what I am calling it, unless you know better.

Just a few minutes before spotting the little tree, I had snapped this mailbox. It has the exact same leaves on it!

“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives, and even when it does it can be lost so easily.”

Althi, our tree is still green, your leaves look like our pecan tree leaf grouping. It's beautiful. Love that mail box so much.

So pretty! This would be perfect for Anni's scavenger hunt for yellow leaf.

Too bad that mailbox is not in those trees because it would make a beautiful picture. It matches the gorgeous trees perfectly!

"What makes you nervous about autumn?" Slipping on wet leaves, is one thing that comes to mind for me... (a lot of rain here the last few days...)
