We saw a woman with this tattoo on her back. I managed to read it and take a quick shot while she was facing the other way. It made me wonder what kind of relationship she had. Did she have to suffer for it?
This is the verse in the Amplified bible:
Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes
all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining
steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
…Puts up
with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

There is surely a story behind her tattoo. I hope it is a happy one, to have the words love and suffers in a tattoo suggests a story.
I love the Amplified Bible... and The Message Bible too. But above those I think I love The Voice Bible the most. I wonder about this tattoo also. ~Andrea xoxo
Makes one curious, doesn't it?
It does make me wonder! Because it could mean anything it depends on how she defines the word suffer! Is it does it mean she suffered or does it mean she puts up with. To me written like that it would mean puts up with all the junk that goes with love. But it might mean something different to her
It definitely leaves me curious. I suppose we'll never know.
I wonder if it is a reminder to.herself to be patient? But if it is on her back, she never sees it.
Strange tat...Not too uplifting...seems she is dwelling on the suffering more than the LOVE. I feel sort of sorry for her.
She can't even see the tattoo...

I just love Paul's love verses in the Bible!!!
I hope she is not suffering.
You are a sneaky photographer! A compliment because that's how you get the best pictures. I wonder if this person realized how many questions this would raise for people who saw it.
I don't feel it is a happy message. But if it wasn't, what if her life totally changed and love brought her riches, emotional ones I mean? That's why I don't like tats, they are there, your circumstances may change, it hurts to get rid of them.
I trust she lives that out in her life.
Let's all say a prayer for her.....I have been in a place like that and realized that what I was suffering from was not love.
It does make you wonder. It makes me think of a Drew Barrymore quote I once read concerning the old Frank Sinatra song, I’ve got you under my skin. She said, “I don’t want to be under your skin.”
very interesting.....
Many have a story to tell, I wonder what hers is. I hope she has a good life now.
Like Sandra said, I suppose the meaning of this depends on how she defines suffer. I find the wording of this rather odd.
