The Black Cat

Look who crossed our path the other day! How suitable for the season! I was glad to see that he is apparently not a stray, as he had a collar and was quite plump. Are you superstitious?

A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere…

Black cats look more fierce than any other color... their eyes shines out! :)

Collars on outdoor cats are not good. They can get hung up on something and then the cat is stuck right where it is or hung. Also, black cats need to be kept inside during halloween season... as they are prime targets for rituals and abuse. Most shelters won't adopt out black cats in the month of October. :-( ~Andrea xoxo

I am not superstitious but some people are if a black cat crosses their path. Happy weekend.

Grouchy was a wise man (and funny). I have never feared a black cat, and won't start now. (Awesome critter photos)

I agree with Groucho but if a black cat does cross my path I will make a comment regarding my bad luck (all in fun of course)

I have to agree with Groucho! No I'm not superstitious and that is one big beautiful black cat he certainly does look well-fed! the way things have been going around here in my house you would think that there was a black cat living in it with us

My Benjamin got one of the ranch kittens and he chose an all black one! Named him Klaus...I think that's for some spooky character I know nothing about! That's one pampered kitty!!

*giggle* I'm with Groucho: not superstitious at all. But today when I opened the kitchen door that leads out to the garage, an orange cat jumped out of a pile of tools and ran out like it was on fire. I closed the garage door. xoxo
