We have a brand new Catholic chrch in town, and they are giving tours to people interested in seeing it. We are not Catholic, but we like seeing different churches. So today we went.
In one of the windows, a cross was reflected in the blue sky.
So,come with us down the stone walkway...
And up to the door.
But you will have to wait till my next post to see the inside. I wouldn't want to post too many photos at once!
No wonder the hills and groves were
God's first temples, and the more they are cut down and hewn into cathedrals
and churches, the farther off and dimmer seems the Lord
himself.

It's amazing that they built it to look old. It doesn't look brand new it's beautiful but it doesn't look new. It looks like it could have been there for many many years can't wait and see the inside

This post did my heart a world of good, Ginny. You NEVER hear of a new Catholic church being built these days... only Catholic churches being vacated and sold to the secular public... to be used as bars, nightclubs, and other things. I don't care what denomination someone is... to see a beautiful big church be built, all for the glory & honor of God, does my heart good. Oh, my friend, I am Catholic, and this Church is beautiful. I love all the stone they used to build this church. Thank you for sharing photos of it. Since the virus started, I have been watching Mass online, and I really miss going inside the church and seeing the candles, the statues, and the holiness of it.
