The Statues

As usual for every major holiday, the Big Cat was suitably dressed. I have posted him for years in his changes of wardrobe; he lives several blocks away.

The different neighbors statues of David were also dressed festively. Not sure how I feel about that, but here they are. On my next post, I'll show you what the rest of the neighborhood did.

"I went to the museum where they had all the heads and arms from the statues that are in all the other museums."

I just love all the different ways they decorate that cat. The other one is festive but I love the cat.

I love that cat! And he's such a happy cat he makes me smile and I love him and the red white and blue one of my favorite costumes he's had on and I don't remember ever seeing the statue of David and any other photos. I think his costume is a bit much much I don't think I have ever seen a statue like this in a yard only in museums

I love the cat and remember it from previous posts. The other one is a bit in poor taste but meant all in good fun I'm sure! :)

Oh, the cat is delightful. I'd love to see him decked out around the other holidays. Your neighborhood is festive dressing up all the statues. That tutu is pretty. : )

The cat is cute! Remember when people had goose statues they used to dress up all the time? I do think the skirts on the statues of David look kind of silly! I love Steven Wright! His one liners are hilarious!

The cat one is really fun and cool. David on the other hand wearing a skirt and that silly headdress not so much.
