Red

Tonight on the hill, the sun was far from the pale pink that I posted yesterday. In fact, the sunset was a deep red. In order.

“Tis evening, and the round red sun sinks slowly in the west,
The flowers fold their petals up, the birds fly to their nest,
The crickets chirrup in the grass, the bats flit to and fro...”

These beautiful sunsets must lift your spirits and end you day so nicely. I would love to see them for real.
By the way Ginny, have you managed to find a good scrabble app, the old one has been removed hasn't it?

These are beautiful. Are those clouds or is it still the smoke

So very beautiful. I’ve read that smoke from the fires on the west coast has reached us here on the east coast. I think that may have something to do with the spectacular sunsets we’ve been seeing lately.

Beautiful sunsets! I noticed more pink look to our sky last night so I figure it could be the winds from the fires.

I don't have a single sunset photo, only sunrises... we are never outside at sunset, even at the beaches we always go early at sunrise. these are stunning

The color is absolutely gorgeous. I'm guessing smoke in the atmosphere is responsible for the rich color.
