“Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God.”
Psalm 42:11

I like the bud in your header photo.
The garden bag guys were probably afraid their boss would not be pleased. I sent the boss a link on their review page. They had no review, so they should be pleased.

I think blue is my favorite color of flower.
Very beautiful blues, Ginny! About your question on my blog, calatheas belong to the family Marantaceae. They have starchy rhizomes.
Hope you had a nice day. Like the blue theme and the round flower.
Greetings,
Filip

Gorgeous shots...What kind of plant is that in the last picture...Enjoy your day off..
Hi Ginny, That blue Hibiscus (or is it a Rose of Sharon?) is pretty. Pansies are also lovely little gems. Blue and gold were colors of the high school where my husband recently retired from so I once had a garden with those colors of flowers. Have a great Wednesday tomorrow!
Thanks, Ginny! I needed that verse. I'll soon be smiling again! God is good.
Thanks, Ginny! I needed that verse. I'll soon be smiling again! God is good.
Love your little blue flowers, Ginny... Of course the Pansy is my favorite one. Our Pansies are looking good now --and unless we have another big, bad freeze, they will just continue to do well...
Hugs,
Betsy
Blue is an unusual color in a flower, so it is always interesting to see a variety of them!
Hope you had a very enjoyable day!
Absolutely BLUETIFUL!!! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your day off - I'm sure that's not something I need to tell you! God bless! God loves blue - He made the sky and the waters and all those flowers!
I love hues of blue. I also like the Psalms for the way they allow the whole range of feelings, often within the same psalm!
