The Four Seasons

In childhood, we press our nose to the pane, looking out. In memories of childhood, we press our nose to the pane, looking in. - Robert Brault

Winter, spring, summer and fall through the eyes of a child. Our granddaughter and Ella. Still full of the wonder of each new season. Do you remember?

"He has remembered his love and his faithfullness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God." Psalm 98:3
P.S. - I took only the second and third pictures of Ella. All the rest, including the header, are our granddaughter Anne Marie, which our daughter-in-law snapped.

To answer your questions on my blog. Duke was 2 in July and he did have a cat to learn the ropes around here from but he has since left us. My car is a 2007 Ford Fusion.

Oh Ginny - they feel everything with their entire body - they are really in the moment. With my aches and pains - I think I kind of half feel things some times. Oh to be as smart as I am now with the body of a child.

Ginny, your Ella and Anne Marie are beautiful children. A young couple where I once pastored adopted a Chinese child and It's a funny thing to look down into that little round face and hear "hill-billy" coming through her mouth! ☺☺☺

What beautiful photos that capture a child's ability to live fully and joyfully in the moment. His love and faithfulness allow us, as adults, to live fully and joyfully in the moment, too.

Suhc wonderful photos of two very sweet and wonderful girls, Ginny! I love the quote and the passage.

PS

The giant Chistmas ornaments you see in my new blog header are ones placed in a fountain in Manhattan as part of the building's decorations. If you look through my "holiday" blog tags you'll see them in a post I did last year about NYC at Christmas!
