Walking On Water

Aren't these glass water nymphs lovely? I took these pictures two days ago at a botanical garden in Richmond, Virginia. They are actually clowns dancing on balls. They fascinated and enchanted me so much that I totally missed some good wildlife shots. My husband tried to point out the other creatures, but I was too taken with this sight to turn my camera away. I felt like a child in a fairyland. There was one who actually did walk on water, and he didn't need a ball or anything else.

"During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediatly said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."

"Lord,if it's you," Peter replied "tell me to come to you on the water."

"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:25,29

I love the clowns--well, all the world loves a clown--and the way your camera captured them. It's way to hot here to go to the botanical gardens or anywhere else outside.

Best,
Bonnie

I love the little fairies dancin' on the water, you captured their day beautifully. Great shot girl.

You also captured the message so eloquently with your words. Yep, we'll all sink if we take our eyes off Jesus.

Have a fantastic day and a wonderfully blessed weekend sweetie!!!

Hi Ginny,

I was reading through my comments on the ViCera Santoku knife and realized I forgot to answer your question. I think I kept getting caught up in your great posts.

A true Japanese Santoku has a smooth blade, that other type of blade is a knock off version. This thing cuts beautifully, I love it.

It looks like a regular fairyland. I can understand why you didn't notice some of the other things around.

These are beautiful! I thought about another trip to the botanical gardens here, but it has been so hot and humid.... for some reason the weather makes me really sleepy. Tonight we did have some rain and after the humidity was up to 96%... you could cut the air with a knife.
