Here are some very unusual hats for you. The last hat is actually a Christmas tree. We wear lots of different hats during our lives, don't we? But more about that in a future post. Jesus wore something you might call a hat of sorrow in his very short life, but later he will wear a different kind of hat altogether. And we will all take our hats off and bow down to worship him in not only a New Year, but a New World. Wishing my dear followers peace in the New Year.
"They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head." Matthew 27:28,29
"His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is The Word of God." Rev. 19:12,13

What a day that will be!
Thanks for your inspirational posts.
That parade of pyramidal cedars with their red hats on was too comical!!! Great sense of humor Ginny! The Scripture was deeply serious and was something great to think on again! You brought the two together in an interesting way! Blessings for the New Year!
I really like the line of little trees with all their hats.
Happy New Year to you and your family.

Well - until I put my glasses on, I thought those trees were monks and you'd found a really neat place to photograph. Love your header btw.

What unique hats on the cedars! and then one cedar cleverly designed as one big hat!!! I look forward to getting my "hat" so I can cast it at the feet of Jesus. May the Lord bless your New Year and give you perfect peace in these troubled times.
The hats on the hedge is hilarious. I thought it was a group of black-coated walkers, at first.
