Monday evening we went to our granddaughter's pre-school Christmas program. She was a sheep, baaa! Here are some of the images from that night. The first picture is the program, and it was designed by our granddaughter, she drew the cover! You can see where she signed her name at the top. What a wonderful surprise this was! It is a manger scene, and she even added a menorah in the lower left corner! Very interesting. I guess she didn't want anyone to feel left out. Anne is the black haired one in the fifth and sixth pictures. The last picture is me after the program with our son and granddaughter. All of the children had paper hearts, and at the end of the program, they all filed by Jesus's bed and put their hearts in it. And isn't the heart of a little child the best one?

This is so precious, Ginny. I almost went to bed and missed seeing this. Now I can go to sleep with this little angel Anne on my heart.
Oh my word, how precious! I love programs with the really little ones.
I know you thoroughly enjoyed the children's play. That last photo is a treasure Ginny.
How sweet, children at that age are the most giving of all. Anne Marie is the cutest sheep I have ever seen.
I'm not sure which part of the tree is used but as far as I know that is the same tree Ginkgo Biloba comes from.
Oh how very sweet Ginny. Your granddaughter is a budding artist!
regarding memory...I have a horrible memory as my husband will attest to. I think it was with great help with God that I was able to memorize that much scripture.
Kids and Christmas. What is more precious than that. I love the magic in their eyes.

Sweet little hearts in God's house--a beautiful performance, I'm sure. Congratulations to the little artist for being chosen to design the program cover. Anne Marie seems to have captured the reason for the program quite nicely.

Anne-Marie makes an adorable sheep. And she is very good at program design. It looks like a wonderful program and evening.
Showers of blessings: a precious granddaughter; a grandchild living close enough that you can attend her preschool program; a preschool program that teaches the joy of "giving your heart to Jesus"!
I always loved going to things like that. The kids are always so adorable. Your granddaughter did a great job with the program. Nice family shot of you guys at the end there.
This is so sweet. Your granddaughter is very beautiful. I loved that you put the photo in your header - the Jesus baby with all the hearts on, I`ll show this photo to my sister in law - because she is a priest.

Hi Ginny, It is my own turn to be behind in my blog reading and comments! I think your post today is just so special. Your Granddaughter is loved and so are her classmates. The program must have been truly memorable and reinforced what the kids have been taught about Christmas. Have a super nice evening tonight and stay warm! Glad to see you are feeling better, too!
At least you went on the ride. I paid full adult entrance fees and I didn't go on any ride.
I miss going to the grands Christmas plays when they were small. Your granddaughter is such a beautiful little girl.It is wonderful to watch you all enjoy these precious moments. I am so pleased you won a scarf from a friend whose work you admire. I laughed when I read how you took your picture in the car. And your tree reflected off your computer. Those Christmas decorations are a hoot!!! Let me know how you like the Irish Coffee. Keep blogging girl!!!Blessings. Lady Jane
It is..lovely post Ginny! Very exciting time of year and they make it all the more memorable.
Sweet photos and art too!!
This post brought tears to my eyes!! What a beautiful idea, to give Jesus their hearts. Your granddaughter is beyond precious!! I wish we were neighbors, Marissa and her would play well together :) If you're ever interested in putting video on, just open up a youtube account and download your video, then you copy the 'embeded' part of the video and paste it directly on your post. It's pretty easy after you do it a few times. Thanks for sharing this... I loved it!!
This is priceless. What better a gift to give than ones' heart?
Blessings,Ruth
It's so much fun to attend the grands concerts and functions throughout the year isn't it!!! I especially loved that they put their little hearts into the manger! That's so cool! What a blessing!
Ginny - your heart is in the right place. sandie
