All Ears

I want to know about your Easter, I hope you will be posting about it! So tell me, I'm all ears. And so is this post - bunny ears, that is. Here are some Easter things I photographed around the area. We bought the bunny donuts and sheep cupcakes for our family for the weekend. I also decided to make these baby lambs with the girls to go along with the big mama sheep, aren't they cute? And see the cute picture holder on a little spring? Anne made that for us as an Easter gift and colored it herself. She included her Easter portrait. And I bet you thought you were finally done with seeing the hanging peeps, but you'd be wrong!!! These are on the house across the street. Guess you'll be seeing them in your dreams by now. But I promise no more!!! Now I will be visiting to hear about your weekends!

"Since ancient times, no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways. " Isaiah 64:4,5

Hi Girlie, Sounds like you had a fabulous Easter... Hallelujah--Christ is Risen!!!!!!

We had a good day --but didn't see any bunnies or peeps here. We did celebrate by fixing a delicious turkey breast for dinner. AND--since we have had fabulous weather all weekend (surprise!!!!) ---we enjoyed being the yard ALOT.

Hugs,
Betsy

When I saw your header, I looked very carefully to see what kind of flowers they were. Then I realised they are pipe cleaners.

Your grand daughter, she is so sweet. It only her birth mum could see her now.

I am reading Digging to America by Anne Tyler and I think of you and all your family.

lots of pretty and cute decorations here, and of course my favorite is Ann Marie. adorable as always. no Easter stories from us, nary a decoration in the house, nary a peep or chocolate and our boiled eggs are white waiting to go in Tuna salad for lunch today. we had our half turkey sandwich for lunch and a bowl of dry limas for dinner. no bunnies involved.

Easter is very colorful around your house. Love the bunny ears and I'm sorry I have no Easter stories to whisper in them.

I enjoyed your Easter pictures. We didn't have nearly that many decorations in our area, and we passed on the Easter goodies. We had a quiet afternoon here at home, but we're going to Tullahoma tomorrow to see my folks.

Ginny, It looks as if you had a marvelous time with plenty of sweet treats! I'm so glad you enjoyed your day!
and as for the picture of my sister and I; I'm the youngest; aka; the shortest!
and yes, I wrote the poem and it was in response to some feelings I've had lately particularly in the workplace. I'm actually a very quiet person and am typically okay with being watchful but at times, the sadness does set in and then it perpetuates itself by me isolating myself...thanks for your thoughts Ginny!

Seeing all these reminds me that I didn't put up any Easter decorations at all this year. But Nature decorated for us outside instead!
