It's Raining Chicks!!!

Look what I came across the other day, it was raining chicks! They were falling from the sky to get to their own special playground, where they had a see-saw and many other fun things to do. I have heard of it raining tomatoes, fish, and frogs, but never chicks! In 1884, so many frogs rained on England that people caught them in their hats. Then in 1984, a bunch of flounder rained on London. Scary or humorous? You be the judge. Wonder if anyone fixed the flounder for dinner? Here is something that rained and people did fix it for dinner. Manna rained down from heaven, and we know why, it was because God sent it. Now wouldn't you love to taste that!!

"Then the Lord said to Moses,"I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. " Exodus 16:4

"Yet he gave a command to the skies above and opened the doors of the heavens; he rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven. Men ate the bread of angels; he sent them all the food they could eat." Psalm 78:23,25

Was this near a "Pictures with the Easter Bunny" set up by any chance. There is a house near us.. it looks like a huge gingerbread victorian type of house. The front yard has an old wooden wagon... full size hay ride wagon and they decorate for the various holidays. I really should stop and take a picture but it would be so obvious and .... well... I think the next permutation will be the red, white and blue for Memorial Day and the 4th of July.

How cute, I love those little umbrellas. First peeps and now chicks, eggactly the right items for our Easter celebration. It must have been very eggciting to see all of these little displays. :)

We needed your umbrella yesterday, Good Friday here. It was a walk from 5 local churches, the rain poured, and the walkers came one hour late. My church was the last church.

I didn't go for the walk.

Happy Pink Saturday Ginny, Really sweet display. Remember, eat the manna immediately do not try to save it for tomorrow. As for the flounder fish fry, I don't think I'd want to take the risk. LOL Have a Easter filled with JOY!

Hi Ginny, Love the post - very cute. The only and I mean only thing I want raining on my head other than God's love, is pure clean water. Have a wonderful evening and a super Easter.

You find the cutest things Ginny and then tie them in with a great moral lesson. The cute stuff must be the result of having grands. We know the Source of the other. Happy Easter and many Blessings to you and yours. Annie

Now stop thinking it tasted like Wonder bread! Ha ha) These are cute! Are you going out or are you having others in? I'm trying to get a lot of stuff out of the way so I won't get backed up tomorrow as I'm having dinner here. Don't you think there's been a lot of fowl falling from the sky..or is it just that more folks have cameras or cells now?..maybe kind of foul wouldn't you say (heh heh). Well I wish you the best ever Easter..I thought I'd get another post up but I'm not so sure now? (Hugs)

Hahaha, literally raining chicks, so cute and creative!

I find the one pushing the stroller/cart thing to be extremely.. I don't know, dope? Haha!

I especially like the Bible scriptures wherein there was food involved. Manna rained down from the heavens and that five loaves two pairs of fish thing.

Happy easter!
