I love it!
I really like the design someone painted on the side of the building. It's kind of sad that it's no longer in use. I imagine at one time it was a very busy place each fall.
Halloween is around the corner, right? pumpkins will be very popular then.. i have yet to experience a Halloween night! :)
I love old barns and usually take pictures of as many as I can. I like your idea of what the bard was used for and most likely it was. I find a lot of places especially this year have closed up. We have what is called here pumpkin days, each year it has always been in the same spot, everyone tries to grow the largest pumpkin, the kids have games to play, fun stuff.
I love old barns also. And this one sure has character!!! Hope you and your family are doing well. Hugs, LJ

i love it. and your header WOW. i have often wondered when i see murals like this how they do it so big. i can somewhat understand painting on a canvas, but this big and so perfect. thanks for finding it and sharing it.

We had a house in our neighborhood that had a big fancy sun painted on the side wall. It was there for years and my kids - me too - loved it. Then one day, the house was sold and the sun was painted over. I can still see the shadow, though.
I love it when people paint seens like these on their old barns (or have done)! Reminds me of some farms back home. :-)

Love that! Cannot belive it is no longer used. When I was was working we did travel neat places on my vacation time. Last year we took my dream trip of 2 month just traveling around the US. As far N as into Michigan and West as Iowa and all the states around that area. This trip is much smaller. I am a Yankee girl born in Sept. Foliage season is everything to me and I so want to feel the cool air and see some foliage. I love road trips anywhere. We do go to New Orleans in Feb just before Mardi Gras for a couple nights. But now that I am retired, that both of us, the big trips are most likely over. Thank you for asking. Thank you for praying for my friend. We go back to living on the same street during childhood and being best friends through school. Very hard. Blessings,
