A Glimpse

Sunset - February 2011

"But if I go to the east, he is not there;
if I go to the west, I do not find him.
When he is at work in the north, I do not see him;
when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him.
But he knows the way that I take;
When he has tested me, I will come forth as gold."
Job 23:8,10

Incredible shots of the sun. With the branches running like veins through an eye, it looks fascinating! Good night, sleep tight!

Your sunset shots are stunning Ginny. The tree branches seem to form a frame for the sun.

So pretty and such warm colors you have captured.

It looks just like gold behind the tree. It looks like the fire that God uses to test us.

Beautiful sunset.. it reminded me of one bible verse, "let your anger disappears before the sun goes down."

I don't always like the testing times - but I am happy when I "come forth" from the test!

I love the color and the reaching-out branches of the trees and the blazing ball of sun sinking into the west. Beautiful!!!!!

MAGNIFICENT! can i say that again? MAGNIFICENT! love this and the background looks like you custom made it to match the header. i was in WM at 6:30 this morning, went there on the way home from the gym, and when i came out there was a ball just like this and i had NO CAMERA.

These are fantastic shots.

To answer your questions on my post: the tide is out and since the shore is flat ait goes a long way. In a few hours that's all deep in sea water. We go here often...it's about 10 minutes drive.

Those are incredible shots - know why you and Sandra are sisters.

I'm not even sure how one would go about capturing those shots - the color and the tree branches - so pretty and 'golden'.

It's so amazing Ginny...the redness of it is just so amazing. In my country if we see the colors like this, it means a longgg hot summer for everyone.
